Reds have won or split all 4 of their last series...won 9 of 14, and 3 of those teams are contenders for at least the wild card. That bodes well...if they can keep it up. Not necessarily for this year, as they have basically no realistic chance at contending unless they can pull an Oakland, but perhaps next year will be much better.
